In anticipation of Mother's Day, we're looking at some of the mothers found in the Bible. Today, Hagar.
Like we said yesterday, it's not always simple. Hagar was a maidservant to Sarah, Abraham's wife. Hagar became pregnant with Abraham’s child and that created a lot of friction between her and Sarah. She fled toward her homeland but an angel told her to return, promising her numerous descendants through her son, Ishmael. Her story has more plot twists and you'll find them all in the 21st chapter of Genesis.
