Staff
Pastor Tom Haugh is an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church and has served churches in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference for over 25 years. He has been senior pastor at Lehman since 1998. He received his B. S. Degree from Valley Forge Christian College and his M. Div. Degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary. He is an instructor of Worship and Preaching for the Local Pastor's Licensing School and also teaches courses on "Introduction to the Old Testament" and "Biblical Interpretation" for the School of Extension for local pastors. Tom has preached and taught in Puerto Rico and Ghana and recently returned from Kenya where he taught pastors in that country. His unique way of preaching and his love for teaching the scriptures challenge us weekly to embrace the mission statement of Lehman Church to be "changed, enriched and engaged by the love of Jesus".
Pastor Nancy Ludwig is a licensed local pastor in the United Methodist Church.
She served as associate pastor at Langhorne United Methodist Church before coming
to Lehman Memorial in June of 2008. She has B. S. and M. Ed degrees from Millersville
State University and was an elementary school teacher for twenty-nine years. She accepted
Christ as her Savior as a child and has been active in church all of her life. Pastor Nancy
is enriched through worship, prayer, and study, and is a student of Wesley Theological
Seminary. Pastor Nancy is engaged in all areas of ministry and in service to the Lord.
She feels grateful and blessed every day to be serving God as a pastor at Lehman Memorial.
Pastora Luky Cotto, como cariñosamente le conocemos, nació en la ciudad de Guatemala y ha estado viviendo en los Estados Unidos por más de 35 años. Es una Pastora Local de la Iglesia Metodista Unida. La Pastora Luky sirvió como Misionera de la Junta General de Ministerios Globales con el programa 10-10-10 por tres años, como Pastora Asociada mientras estuvo viviendo en La Gran Conferencia de New Jersey por 5 años. La Pastora Luky y su familia se mudaron para Pensilvania y ahora esta sirviendo como una Nueva Plantadora de Iglesia en la Iglesia Metodista Unida Lehman desde julio del 2008. Graduada del Instituto Guatemalteco Americano (IGA), como Secretaria Bilingüe, recibió su Bachillerato en Administración de Empresas de la Universidad de Phoenix en Filadelfia y esta completando sus cursos Teológicos a través de la Universidad Bíblica Latinoamericana (UBL) en Costa Rica, CA. La Pastora Luky es profesora Adjunta del colegio Messiah, en la ciudad de Filadelfia, Facilitadora del Plan Nacional para Ministerios Hispanos/Latinos y ha escrito una unidad para el Modulo de Jóvenes y una unidad para el Modulo de Educación Cristiana. Además, ha escrito para el programa de la División de Mujeres en Español, y ha escrito varios artículos para la revista El Interprete de nuestra denominación. Luky es una líder bastante conocida en la comunidad Latina de la IMU. Esta casada con el Rev. Dr. Irving Cotto con quien tuvo tres hijos, Julio Irving, casado con Mayra Cortes, Andres G., y Alejandro O., los tres graduados de la universidad. Luky esta gozando cada minuto de este nuevo ministerio que el Señor ha puesto en sus manos.
Pastor Luky Cotto, as everybody knows her, was born in Guatemala City and has been living in the USA for more than 35 years. She is a Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church. Pastor Luky served as a 10-10-10 Missionary GBOGM for three years, as an Associate Pastor while in the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference for 5 years. Pastor Luky and her family moved back to Pennsylvania and is now serving as a New Church Planter at Lehman since July, 2008. A graduate from the American-Guatemalan Institute in Guatemala, Central America, as a Bilingual Secretary, she received her B.S.B.A. Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in Philadelphia. At present she is completing her Theological studies through the Latin American Biblical University (UBL) in Costa Rica, CA. Pastor Luky is an adjunct professor at Messiah College, in Philadelphia, a facilitator of the National Plan for Hispanic/Latino Ministries and has written a teaching unit for a Module on Youth Ministry, and a Module on Christian Education. In addition, she also wrote for the UM Women’s Division, and a series of articles for the Spanish language, periodical, El Interprete. Luky is a well known leader in the UM Latino community. She is married to Rev. Dr. Irving Cotto with whom they have three sons, Julio I., Andres G. and Alejandro O., all graduated from college. Luky loves the Lord and is enjoying every minute of the new ministry the Lord has put in her hands.
Susan Haugh has been involved in all areas of Christian Education for many years and has extensive experience in teaching the love of Jesus to all ages. From pre-school to adult she has been a mentor and motivator for effective Christian Education. At Lehman Church she helped to implement "Rotation" Sunday School, a system of Christian Education that utilizes multiple learning styles of children. Sue embraces the "enriched" part of our church's mission statement and seeks to enrich your family's faith experience by providing quality Christian Education that is relevant and meaningful.
Karen Douglass is Lehman's Parish Nurse. She has been working as an RN since 1983, and has been Lehman's parish nurse since 1997. She graduated with a BSN from Thomas Jefferson University.
Parish Nursing is a calling to create, improve and maintain whole person health - body, mind and spirit. Lehman's Health Ministry includes health counseling, blood pressure screening, hospital and home visitation, health classes and seminars, and much more. As the Parish Nurse Karen works to positively influence the health and well-being of Lehman's members, while ministering to the hurting and promoting healing.
Harry and Joyce Barnhurst tag team as youth directors at Lehman.
Beverly Lawless joined Lehman Church in 1985 and has been Office Manager at Lehman since 2000. Prior to working at Lehman Church she worked for a major Chemical Company as an Office Manager in the Legal Department. Beverly sings with the Cross Connection Contemporary Worship Team and with the Sanctuary Choir. She is blessed to worship each Sunday and be engaged in service to the congregation of Lehman Church.
Joanne Duff is blessed to be engaged in serving the people of Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church as a part time administrative assistant.
Tedd Didden directs the Sanctuary Choir every week, as well as mans the organ console as Lehman's resident organist.
Phyllis Morocco is the director of Lehman Christian Preschool and is also one of three preschool teachers at Lehman. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been with the preschool since 1998. Phyllis and the preschool staff continuously engage the children in social/emotional, academic and spiritual activities. The preschool will be celebrating 20 years of success in September 2010.
Ruth Kuchinsky-Smith - Music Director of Children/Youth E-mail Ruth Ruth Kuchinsky-Smith is the director of the Chapel Choir (3rd grade - 5th grade) and the Disciple Singers (6th grade - 12th grade). She also teaches little ones beginning mallet instruments in Lehman's Orff Ensemble. Each Easter season, Ruth directs "His Last Days," a musical depicting the last days of Christ. Many will know this as a Lehman tradition.
Susan Pond directs both the Lehman Ringers and Youth Bell ensemble, as well as the Carol Choir (Grades K-2). A member of Lehman church for most of her professional life, she can also be heard weekly in the Cross Connection Worship Team as a main keyboard player.
Jared Williams - Cross Connection Worship Leader E-mail Jared Jared Williams leads Cross Connection Worship each week at 9:30AM in the Sanctuary, and is the director of the Worship Team. He has been with Lehman Church since 2000, and is a graduate of Temple University in Vocal Performance and Music Technology. Jared is thrilled to still be leading a ministry he helped to create, and is looking forward to what God has in store for Lehman in the future. He is currently pursuing his PA education certication, and encourages those who have a heart for worship to join the worship vocals or band.
Jim Glick is Lehman's resident financial guru. His heart for true team leadership has lead him to this position of both joy and challenge.
Walter Krzywicki is Lehman's church sexton. His services allow Lehman to be cleaned, set-up, and prepared for the countless number of events that are a part of Lehman's busy daily routine.
Peg Peters continues at Lehman as a part time Custodian, helping Walter when needed, but primarily focusing on the cleaning and organization of Lehman's Christian Pre-School.
Brad Beck is the resident Audio Engineer at Lehman, running live sound, recording, and duplication services for 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00 worship experiences, as well as countless special events. He is a graduate of The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences where studied Audio Recording and Production, Post Production, Video Game Audio, Music Business, and Live Sound, He holds certifications in Pro Tools, Waves, Logic Pro, SMAART, and TC Electronics.
Bill Carroll designs a variety of media used for worship services on a weekly basis.
