Offers connection, comfort, support and strength to women who have experienced or are currently struggling with infertility, miscarriage, adoption, and fostering issues.

The group meets every first and third Monday evening at 7 p.m. at Lehman Memorial Church, 300 S. York Road, Hatboro, PA in Room B17.

For many women, the family building journey is not an easy or straightforward one. According to the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development about 11% of women experience infertility issues and approximately 15% to 20% of women who know they are pregnant will miscarry. For these and a multitude of other reasons, many women look to adoption and fostering as nontraditional options to establish a family. These routes, however, present a myriad of emotional, legal, and financial challenges.

Infertility, miscarriage, adoption, and fostering issues are deeply personal and stressful experiences that are often endured alone and in silence. Unheard Angels gives women a safe space to voice their stories in an atmosphere of honesty, understanding and support. Communicating with others with similar life experiences can reduce feelings of anxiety and isolation and produce a greater sense of empowerment and understanding. Group members can also take away practical advice and resources from others who have faced similar challenges.

ALL INTERESTED WOMEN IN THE COMMUNITY are welcome to join the Unheard Angels Community.  Although the group meets at Lehman Memorial UMC, it is not necessary to be a member of the church to participate.
